We often say to ourselves a few times a year, I must start eating better....we start then off we go again. But; by eating well does helps us to feel better from the inside out. Having fish twice a week can make such a difference, but if your unlucky not to be able to have fish, then I would speak to your doctor as vitamin D is very important as we don't seem to get enough these days. These foods can help boost your vitamin D (sardines, prawns, salmon, eggs, yoghurt). Don't feel like doing any exercise; I understand, but just a 10 minute walk for the first week is a great start, and if you increase this by 10 minutes every week; you will and should feel better by the second week. You can add in some housework or gardening these are great calories burners. Hard in these times with covid 19; but catching up with family and friends in a park, beach etc helps your mood & your mental health. I cannot stress enough that you need enough sleep, as if you don't we tend to get annoyed easier and can / could cause depression if gone long enough. Try different things every night, do this for two nights for each, you may find one night will feel better than the other night, but by doing this you making your body get out of the same old routine it's used too. Give these a go: "switch off all electronics 1 hour before bed", "soak in a warm bubble bath", "don't over heat yourself in bed", "read for an hour in bed", "go to bed by 10.00pm", "lights out & relax in bed listening to a relaxing to meditation music".
Running a "Free" reiki session to win this past week and it's been drawn this evening on the 11.10.20. The lucky winner is Susie; congratulations.
I NEED TO GET BACK INTO A ROUTINE.....................
Staying up late and sleeping the days away? Cannot sleep? Covid is changing my routine and I don't know how to get back into it.
Make a promise to yourself that you'll give these idea's a go. Were creatures of habit and it will take time to feel or notice how your feeling. Below, are a few ideas that may help you. (Let me know how you go) * Soak in a bath before 8.30pm (not to hot) - place 6 to 8 drops of essential oils - try one of these as they are so relaxing (lavender, marjoram, neroli) * Aim to be in bed without electronics by 9.30pm every evening * Have a hot chocolate or hot milk ( 1 ) hour before bed * Turn the television off before 8.30pm * Place a couple of drops of "Lavender essential oils" on your pillow * When in bed, turn on some gentle relaxing music without the light on
One key to remember, give yourself a go at least for each one. Recommendation to do one or two for at least, three to four nights.
Opening up your mind & body allows you to control your inner energy. Sending you Love & Light.
